Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

Allen is a SPR 2017 initiate of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Lambda Chapter. Bro. Allen has been active civically most of his life. Originally from Southfield, Mich., Allen’s parents had him and his siblings volunteering and exposing them to the arts at a young age. After high school he moved to Frankfort, KY to attend Kentucky State University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in mass communication and journalism and later his Master of Arts in organizational leadership from Campbellsville University.   Bro. Allen now considers Louisville, KY his home, where he works for LG&E and KU Energy LLC in the area of Corporate Responsibility and Community Affairs. “It’s an honor to be a part of such a noble fraternity. I look forward to working alongside all the great brothers that have come before me and paved the way,” said Allen.  “I thank all the brothers that played a part in my development and entry into the House of Alpha!” In addition to his professional accomplishments, Bro. Allen actively is involved in numerous professional and community organizations. Allen currently sits on his company’s Diversity Forum where he is a proactive instrument in helping the company in its social, economic and business aspects to ensure both its success and a more just and sustainable organization. We are confident that Bro. Allen will be great asset to our dear fraternity.
