Amateur and Professional Chefs prepared samplings of their dish for each of the 325 attendees who came to taste the finest dishes the Louisville community has to offer. The food extravaganza also hosted a Greek Row which allows the fellow NPHC fraternities to compete for a traveling trophy inscribed with the name of the annual winner in that category. With over 8 cooks represented Iota Phi Theta Fraternity took home the trophy. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity walked away with the Best Appetizer Award which was won by Chef Bro. Cecil Brookins who prepared savory Sweet Chicken Bacon Wraps with KY Bourbon Whiskey Sauce.
Award-winning speaker and author Tish Norman served as the mistress of ceremony while guests were entertained by neo-soul sounds of the Honeychild Band. Congratulations to all the participants on another culinary job well done!!
